RE: 2024-25 Texas Financial Education Endowment Grant Recipients
TFEE’s recent application cycle sparked a high level of interest for entities providing financial education to Texans. Over 50 applicants requested nearly $4 million in funding for TFEE’s 2024-2025 grant cycle. At Friday’s meeting, the Finance Commission (FC) of Texas accepted the Grant Advisory Committee’s (GAC) recommendation to provide funding for 10 grantees in an aggregate award amount of $735,700 (see table below). This amount included an increase from the FC’s initial $730,000 approved award. Activities for the 2024-2025 grant cycle will begin on January 1, 2024.
