Open Records Requests

You have a right to request information from the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act (chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code).  Requests must be made in writing. The information and links below will help you make a request, and understand how your request will be handled.

You may submit your written request for information from the OCCC by:

           Mail or Hand-Delivery to Public Information Officer, OCCC, 2601 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78705; or

           Email to public.information@occc.texas.gov.

Please Note: As of December 2, 2021, all charges for new public information requests must be paid by check. 

Your request should include your:

           ●  Phone number

           ●  Email address

           ●  Description of the items you are requesting, including the dates or date range of the items.
